Kahaan Jaa Raha Hai

Lyrics by Shailendra

कहाँ जा रहा है तू ए जाने वाले
अन्धेरा है मन का दिया तो जला ले

kahaan jaa raha hai tu ai jaane wale
andheraa hai man ka, diya toh jalaa le

अन्धेरा, Andheraa: Blackness, Darkness, Gloom, Obfuscation, Wan
दिया, Diya: Lamp

ये जीवन सफ़र एक अंधा सफ़र है
बहकना है मुमकिन भटकने का डर है
संभालता नहीं दिल किसी के संभाले

yeh jeewan safar ek andha safar hai
bahaknaa hai mumkin bhatakne ka dar hai
sambhaltaa nahin dil kisii ke sambhaale

अंधा, Andhaa: Blink
बहकना, Bahaknaa: To be frightened away, to be deceived, misled, to stray, to be baulked or disappointed
मुमकिन, Mumkin: Possible, Feasible
भटकना, Bhatakna: To Err
संभालना, Sambhalna: To support, sustain, hold up, uphold, prop; to take care of, to look after; to maintain; to assist, help; to set right, to arrange, settle; to manage; to moderate; to stop, retain; to restrain, control, curb, check, keep in check; to repress; to correct, punish

जो ठोकर न खाए नहीं जीत उसकी
जो गिरके संभल जाए है जीत उसकी
निशाँ मंजिलों के ये पैरों के छाले

jo thokar na khaaye nahin jeet unki
jo girke sambhal jaaye hai jeet uski
nishaan manzilon ke yeh pairon ke chhaale

ठोकर, Thokar: Obstacle, Kick, Stumble, Misstep
निशाँ, Nishaan: Badge, Emblem, Label, Mark, Emblem, Identity, Presence, Scar, Sign, Signal, Target, Trace
मंजिल, Manzil: Abode, Day’s Journey, Destination, Goal, House, Landing, Level, Objective, Tier
छाला, Chhala: A Blister; A Pustule, Pimple

कभी ये भी सोचा के मंजिल कहाँ है
बड़े से जहां में तेरा घर कहाँ जाए
जो बांधे थे बंधन वो क्यूँ तोड़ डाले

kabhi yeh bhi socha ke manzil kahaan hai
bade se jahaan mein teraa ghar kahaan hai
jo baandhe the bandhan woh kyoon toD daale

बाँधना, Baandhna: Affix, Bind, Chain, Congeal, Fasten, Tie, Wind
